Academic Structure

Academic Structure

The academic structure of the school is designed in accordance with the guidelines and norms prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It aims to provide age-appropriate learning experiences that support the academic, emotional, and social development of students at every stage of schooling. The structure ensures continuity in learning while progressively building knowledge, skills, and values.

Primary Level (Classes I–V)

At the primary level, the focus is on building strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and environmental awareness. Teaching–learning processes are activity-based and experiential, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning. Emphasis is placed on developing communication skills, good learning habits, and positive social behaviour in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Middle Level (Classes VI–VIII)

The middle school years mark a transition from foundational learning to conceptual understanding. The curriculum at this stage encourages analytical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning. Students are introduced to a broader range of subjects, supported by projects, practical work, and collaborative activities that deepen understanding and promote responsibility and self-discipline.

Secondary and Senior Secondary Level (Classes IX–XII)

At the secondary and senior secondary levels, the academic programme is structured to prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations while fostering academic rigour and intellectual maturity. Greater emphasis is placed on subject specialisation, application-based learning, and assessment readiness. Career awareness, life skills, and ethical values are integrated into the learning process to equip students with the confidence and competence required for higher education and life beyond school.
